About One

Simple Energy One is expected to launch in India in August 2022 in the expected price range of ₹ 1,00,000 to ₹ 1,05,000. Currently available bikes which are similar to One are BGauss D15, OLA S1 & Okinawa OKHI-90. Another bike similar to One is Suzuki Burgman Street Electric which is launching in October 2022 in India.

The Simple One is Simple Energy, a Bangalore-based company’s first electric scooter that aims to takes the fight to the Ola S1, Ather 450X and Bajaj Chetak.

The scooter is fitted with a 4.8kWh battery pack and claims to offer a range of 203km in Eco mode. Powering the e-scooter is a 4.5kW motor that delivers 72Nm and a claimed 0-40 time of 2.95 seconds. Meanwhile, its top-speed ranges from 98kmph to 105kmph depending on the tyre choice.

The list of features on the Simple One include four riding modes- Eco, Ride, Dash and Sonic. It also gets a 7-inch touchscreen with 4G and Bluetooth connectivity along with full-LED lighting. The scooter also offers music and call control, navigation, vehicle tracking and a tyre pressure monitoring system among other features like find-my-bike, and geo-fencing. Besides this, the Simple One also boasts a 30-litre underseat storage.

Simple Energy is offering the electric scooter in a choice of four colors- Azure Blue, Brazen Black, Grace White and Namma Red.

The Simple One is the latest e-scooter in the market. It is loaded with lots of features, performance that is fantastic and an extremely practical riding range. But the brand isn’t known yet and there are a few things that makes the scooter less aspiring. But things should get better when the final production model is unveiled.
